Viessmann has been manufacturing highly efficient heating systems for decades and is one of the world’s most recognised boiler brands. The German manufacturer also specialises in renewable heating solutions, including ground source heat pumps to provide homeowners with a more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly way to heat their properties.
If you want to upgrade your heating with a green option, a ground source heat pump from Viessmann has the potential to significantly reduce your carbon footprint and bring down those energy bills.
Viessmann Ground Source Heat Pump Range
Viessmann ground source heat pumps use geothermal probes or collectors to take heat from the ground and pass it onto the heating system in your home. As the ground temperature remains relatively constant throughout the seasons, a Viessmann ground source heat pump can provide you with efficient heating and hot water all year round.
Ground source heat pumps from Viessmann are low-maintenance and easy to run, plus they’re more efficient and use less CO2 than other forms of heating systems. Each model in the range comes with a standard warranty of two years, but this can be extended if installed by a registered Viessmann installer.

Why Choose a Viessmann Ground Source Heat Pump?
You Can Save Money on Your Energy Bills
Ground source heat pumps are more energy efficient than traditional heating systems. Although some boilers are over 90% efficient, heat pumps can be up to 400% efficient because they create around 4 units of heat for every 1 unit of electricity used. So, if you invest in a Viessmann ground source heat pump, it can potentially save you a significant amount of money every year.
More Friendly to the Environment
As ground source heat pumps harness natural heat from underground to keep your home warm, they help create a more environmentally friendly future. Only a small amount of electricity is needed to power your heat pump, meaning a Viessmann ground source heat pump can play its part in significantly cutting your home’s carbon footprint. What’s more, you can be even kinder to the planet by combining your heat pump with a renewable source, such as solar panels.
Earn Money through the RHI Scheme
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme is a UK government scheme that offers financial rewards to people who invest in renewable heat technologies, like Viessmann ground source heat pumps. If you invest in one, the RHI will provide you with quarterly payments based on the amount of heat your system generates. To qualify for RHI payments, your heat pump has to be MCS certified and installed by an MCS accredited installer.
Control Your Heat Pump from Your Smartphone
Viessmann ground source heat pumps are compatible with the ViCare app, which enables you to control your heating system from anywhere via your smartphone. The app lets you view your system’s operating status and receive alerts should a fault occur. You can even store your engineer’s details into the app to enable you to contact them quickly whenever you need support.
