Vaillant Gas Boilers Prices

Vaillant Gas boilers prices range between £720 and £2,800, excluding the cost of installation

Vaillant boilers are highly recommended throughout Europe for their efficiency and environmentally friendly designs. The Vaillant ecoTEC range of domestic boilers are made with the highest quality components and are backed up with market leading guarantee packages. With a broad range of combination, system and open vent boilers available, the Vaillant ecoTEC range will provide the perfect boiler for your home.

Vaillant Combi Boilers Price Range – Hot Water On Demand

Perfect for homes with limited space and/or smaller water requirements, Vaillant combination boilers heat water only when hot water is needed. Vaillant combi boilers are the most energy efficient boilers in the Vaillant range because they connect directly to the mains supply and don’t require a cold water tank or hot water cylinder. The only disadvantage to this type of boiler is that water pressure may not be as high as it would be with other types of boilers, especially if more than one tap is being used at the same time. Prices range from £850 to £1,920 with varying dimensions, flow rates and outputs.

Below, you can compare each combi boiler series currently available from Vaillant and find out which options are best suited to your home and needs:

Vaillant System Boilers Price Range – Eco-Friendly & Adaptable

System boilers are also known as sealed system boilers and provide hot water via a sealed system tank, which is usually housed in an airing cupboard. They do not require a cold water tank in the loft (unlike an open vent boiler) and they are advantageous in terms of satisfying high hot water demands. Vaillant system boilers can also be used in conjunction with other renewable energy heating systems such as solar thermal. Prices range from £780 to £2,800 with varying outputs to suit any home.

Designed for homes with greater hot water requirements, the Vaillant system boiler range includes the following options:

System Gas Boiler SeriesSizesSizes Of HomePrice
Vaillant ecoTEC Plus System12 – 37kWSmall, medium and large-sized homes with multiple bathrooms£780 – £1,370
Vaillant ecoFIT Pure System12 – 30kWSmall, medium and large-sized homes with multiple bathrooms£840 – £1,160
Vaillant ecoTEC Exclusive with Green iQ System27kWMedium to large-sized homes with multiple bathrooms£1,300
Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 48kW & 64kW System48 – 64kWLarge homes with multiple bathrooms£2,200 – £2,600
Vaillant ecoTEC 46kW & 65kW System46 -65kWCommercial buildings and large homes with multiple bathrooms£2,200 – £2,800

Vaillant Regular Boilers Price Range – Great For Larger Properties

Vaillant regular boilers (often referred to as open vent, heat only or conventional boilers) provide central heating and hot water via a boiler, a storage cylinder (which is usually housed in the airing cupboard), as well as a cold water tank in the loft. The tank in the loft draws water from the mains supply and then feeds the hot water cylinder. The water is then heated by the boiler and can be distributed throughout the property. It might take time to reheat once the water runs out due to it being cylinder driven but you can use taps, showers and baths in different rooms at the same time which is a necessity for larger families. Prices range from £796 to £1430 with varying outputs.

The Vaillant regular boiler range has been developed with small, medium and large homes in mind, and includes:

Regular Gas Boiler SeriesSizesSize Of HomePrice
Vaillant ecoFIT Pure Regular12 – 35kWSmall, medium and large-sized homes with more than one bathroom£730 – £1,440
Vaillant ecoTEC Plus Regular12 – 35kWSmall, medium and large-sized homes with more than one bathroom£720 – £1,520

Vaillant Boiler Problems and Repairs

If you own a Vaillant boiler or are just about to have one installed, you might experience issues with your boiler from time to time. Most problems tend to occur during the colder months of the year and after long periods of your heating remaining switched off. Some Vaillant boiler problems can be addressed without the need to contact a professional but the majority of issues will require the expertise of a qualified engineer. We’ve provided a guide to the most Common Vaillant Boiler Problems and Repairs that you are likely to encounter and what you’ll need to do next.

Vaillant Boiler Fault Codes

Many Vaillant boiler problems will result in a fault code appearing on your boiler’s control panel, and the fault codes are designed to help you and your engineer to determine what has gone wrong with your system. Most Vaillant boiler fault codes will begin with the letter F, followed by a number, but they may differ depending on the boiler model you own. Some user manuals will have a page dedicated to fault codes, whereas others just include status codes and diagnostics codes. If your Vaillant boiler is displaying a fault code and you’re having trouble finding out what it means, feel free to use the table in our guide to Vaillant Boiler Fault Codes.

Vaillant Boiler Warranty

No matter which Vaillant boiler you have installed, it will come with a manufacturer-backed warranty that covers you for certain parts and labour charges in the event of a breakdown. The warranty is there to provide you with peace of mind should you need any repairs during the warranty validation period, and the length of the warranty can vary depending on the boiler model and who you choose to install the boiler. You also need to know that strict terms and conditions must be followed to keep the warranty valid. Take a look at our handy guide to the Vaillant Boiler Warranty to learn more about what is covered by the warranty, how to register it, and the terms and conditions you need to follow.

I have had a Vaillant EcoTec pPlus 831 for nearly 14 years. Apart from breaking down once about 9 years ago it has been faultless , efficient and quiet. As I have thermostatic valves on all but one radiator I was advised to keep the heating temperature on maximum so that is what it is set at. I an thinking of getting it replaced soon before it starts giving me trouble with the same boiler.

Don’t agree with Vailant being a good boiler, I have an ecotec 418 and the temperature control is crap, it sits at 55oC then does nothing, other times it’s only 5oC away from the target temperature and fires up so hard it trips on high temperature…….the temperature control on this boiler is archaic / abysmal…..I u derstamd process temperature control and this is brutal and ineffective, will NOT buy vailiant ever again…
