Warmhaus Boilers: Prices, Reviews and Boiler Ranges

Warmhaus Boilers: A Complete Guide to Their Prices, Reviews, Warranties And a Lot More

Warmhaus offers budget-friendly boilers with an incredible energy-efficient rating of “up to 97.5%.” With various performance outputs to suit all size homes and price points ranging from £620 to £780, the Turkish manufacturer could be a cost-effective heating solution.

Warmhaus is dedicated to offering value-for-money heating systems and although the Warmhaus (or Warmhouse) only entered the UK market in 2017 is gradually building a reputation for itself.

You don’t need to spend thousands to purchase a Warmhaus combi boiler but don’t forget installation costs need to be added to the cost of the boiler. To ensure you get the best deal on a new boiler and the installation, we recommend you get at least a few fixed-price quotes from different installers.

Local installers tend to be cheaper but national companies often have a ready-made supply and can offer fast turnarounds. We also need to remind you that you should only ever use a gas-safe registered installer to fit replacement boilers, so remember to check their ID card before you accept a quote.

Warmhaus: A Trusted Name in Boilers

Warmhaus is a prominent name in the heating industry with a rich history characterised by innovation and growth. Founded in 1996, Warmhaus became a significant player in the Turkish industrial sector with a focus on producing radiators and panel heaters.

In the early 2000s, Warmhaus expanded its product range to include combi boilers, investing in research and development to ensure high efficiency and reliability. This diversification helped the company cater to a broader market.

In 2014, Warmhaus began exporting its products to European markets and in 2017 to the UK. This expansion was driven by the company’s commitment to meeting global standards and consumer needs.

Warmhaus launched the MinerWa boiler, which received accolades in Germany in 2021 for its compact design, efficiency, and user-friendly interface. This product exemplified Warmhaus’s dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Considerations when buying a Warmhaus Boiler

Energy-Efficiency

Warmhaus boilers are renowned for their emphasis on energy efficiency, a crucial factor for both environmental sustainability and cost savings.

The company claims to have achieved an impressive ErP efficiency rating of 92% but could save up to 97.5% of the energy generated if you learn how to achieve this through smart settings.

Dimensions

Measuring H725mm x D288mm x W420mm, Warnhaus gas boilers are the most compact units in the UK market, making them ideal for space-saving, especially in smaller homes.

However, if you choose the system boiler, bear in mind that you also need additional space for a water cylinder and storage tanks.

Performance Output in kW

Warmhaus offers a wide range of performance outputs for properties of all sizes in the UK. Their comprehensive combi range includes models with outputs of 24kW, 28kW, 33kW, 38kW and 41kW, suitable for heating anything from one-bedroom apartments (24kW) to homes with up to five bedrooms and two bathrooms (41kW).

To ensure you select the right output for your home, consult a local supplier who can provide more precise advice tailored to your specific needs. You can easily connect with a local supplier using our free, no-obligation ‘get a quote’ feature.

Ease and Cost of Installation

The accessibility and complexity of the installation site can significantly impact labour costs. According to Gas Safe engineers, Warmhaus boilers are among the easiest to install, with components readily available in the UK.

This ease of installation means that labour costs for installation, servicing, and maintenance are likely to be lower. It’s important to factor the cost of professional gas-safe installers into the overall cost of your new boiler, as installation fees are not included in the boiler’s listed price.

While Boiler Prices cannot provide specific rates for every installation provider, we can confirm that the average installation cost for a new energy-efficient boiler in the UK ranges from £1,100 to £1,800. Opting for a Warmhaus gas boiler could potentially save you hundreds of pounds compared to boilers that are more challenging to install.

To find out exactly how much you should expect to pay to install a new Warmhaus boiler in your home, take advantage of the Boiler Prices ‘get a quote’ feature.

Our convenient features give you access to a wide range of suppliers and installers in your area that compete for prices. We give you the three best options and you can choose whichever quote you prefer — and there’s no obligation to buy. Therefore, there’s nothing to lose by generating a selection of the best quotes.

Warranty

Warmhaus boilers include a minimum 2-year warranty as standard with the option to extend providing the warranty is registered within 30 days of installation, the unit is fitted by gas-safe engineers and the boiler is serviced by a qualified technician.

Extended warranty periods are determined by the boiler you purchase and Warmhaus doesn’t publish this information anywhere.

Warmhaus Combi Boilers: Compact, Efficient, and Cost-Saving

The gas combi boilers manufactured by Warmhaus are modern and compact units that boast some amazing features. Like all combi boilers, Warmhaus combis delivers heating and hot water from one unit, so you won’t need to store water in separate cylinders or tanks.

As these boilers come in a good selection of kW outputs, it’s easy to find a Warmhaus combi boiler to suit your heating and hot water requirements.

As a general rule, the higher your demand for heating and hot water, the higher the boiler output will need to be. When it comes to choosing the correct boiler output, we recommend you ask a trusted heating engineer. Warmhaus currently offers a small variety of combi boiler models, which cost between £620 and £780.

Note: the prices listed below are the purchase prices for the boiler only. They do not include installation costs.

Warmhaus System Boilers: Easy installation, efficient heating, and customisable options

Warmhaus only has one model in its system range, the Enerwa Plus which has an energy efficiency of 91% and comes in a range of kW outputs from 24kW-41kW.

It should be remembered that system boilers require a separate cylinder to store hot water, so don’t forget this if you are mesmerised by Warmhaus’ compact features and excellent design. You’ll need adequate space for both a water cylinder too.

System boilers heat the water in the cylinder, so you’ll need to turn on the boiler in advance to ensure hot water is available when you need it. These boilers are ideal for homes with high hot water demand.

The Warmhaus gas-fired system boiler range includes the following options:

Warmhaus Boiler Warranties

Warranties are crucial indicators of a boiler’s quality. The length reflects the manufacturer’s confidence in their product’s reliability.

Warmhaus economy boilers come with a standard warranty of just 2 to 5 years, which may raise concerns about their quality and does not inspire much confidence.

Warmhaus warranties cover the cost of parts and labour for repairs needed due to manufacturing defects or faults within the warranty period. To fully activate these warranties, you must register online within 30 days of installation; otherwise, the warranty is rendered invalid.

Warmhaus Boiler Controls

Warmhaus has introduced smart controls into its new line of energy-efficient boilers. The mobile app-based controls allow users to manage their heating and hot water systems from their mobile phone or tablet. You don’t need to be at home to adjust settings.

Experts suggest that choosing the right boiler controls is just as crucial as selecting the right boiler. Warmhaus claims their new boilers can deliver an ErP of Up to 97.5% whilst the standard ErP is 91% and 92%.

Warmhaus Boiler Cover and Breakdown Options

Warnhaus offers service plans that include annual boiler servicing. These plans ensure regular maintenance by certified engineers, lowering the risk of breakdowns and maintaining efficiency.

Furthermore, service plans often include benefits such as priority call-outs and discounts on repairs. Additionally, Warmhaus provides accessibility to an online technical helpline to report faults, services and general enquiries.

Warmhaus Boiler Surveys and Reviews

Boiler surveys and customer reviews are valuable sources of impartial advice. However, it’s essential to approach consumer magazines with caution, as they often serve as platforms for advertising and PR.

This caution is particularly relevant when considering Warmhaus. While some seemingly impartial websites profess to be experts in the heating industry and appear to offer trustworthy advice, they are fronts for boiler manufacturers.

For example, one website claims: “Warmhaus combi boilers have been manufactured to the highest standard using the latest energy-efficient technology.”

This is not strictly true. The ErP rating of 92% is the bog basic energy-efficient benchmark to receive an A rating. And we’ve even seen boilers with a 90% ErP awarded a SEBDUK A rating.

Another website claims: “Warmhaus stands behind the quality of their products with a robust warranty program.”

When we looked at their warranty, the length of the warranty was not given. This may be what is meant by “robust” but there is usually an industry standard. That appears to be 2 years. We have no idea how much you can extend this to.

The only real review site we have to work with is Trustpilot. And there have only been seven reviews which is not enough to work with.

Two of the seven reviewers awarded one star and called the company “terrible” and one of the five 5-star ratings is clearly fabricated. The opening line reads like an advertising bulleting:

From Trustpilot

“Warmhouse Ltd are the domestic arm of BN Rendering Ltd, they offer property insulation solutions and are based in Lanarkshire, but they cover the whole of Scotland.”

That is not a review!

The other four respondents seem to have left reviews shortly after installing a boiler. They all praise the service team for their efforts and one customer does confirm his heating bills have reduced.

How do Warmhaus boilers compare with other boiler brands?

We feel that comparing Warmhaus to premium brands in terms of build quality and reliability – as many websites do – is unfair. However, when it comes to pricing, it has to be said that the Turkish manufacturer does offer some of the most budget-friendly options in the UK market.

Their prices are significantly lower than top-rated brands like Worcester Bosch and Vaillant and closer to reputable brands like Baxi, Glow-worm and Ideal.

Nevertheless, there’s debate over whether Warmhaus can match the reliability of Ideal, Glow-worm, or Baxi, and it will be interesting to find out. However, at the time of writing (May 2204) there is not enough reliable evidence to show you can rely on a Warmhaus boiler.

All we have to go from are the six seemingly genuine reviews on Trustpilot, 2 of which state the boilers are not reliable. That’s not a great start.

Having said that, people usually only leave reviews if they have a poor experience or a company exceeds expectations. Looking at it from that standpoint, Warmhaus shows potential.

Even by taking a positive view, it’s difficult to get excited about Warmhaus. The two-year warranty does not fill us will confidence that these boilers will see you through winter in the foreseeable future.

The most reputable and reliable companies over at least 5-year warranties for around the same cost in boilers. Our advice is to spend a little bit more and buy a boiler you can rely on – which means investing in boilers that have a 7 or 10-year warranty.

Boiler Prices Verdict on the Warmhaus Boilers: 3/5

Although Warmhaus only has a few different combi boiler models to choose from, their range delivers performance outputs from 24-40kW which is suitable for almost all size homes in the UK.

However, it should be noted this company only offers combi boilers and system boilers so is no good for homeowners who do not have access to the gas grid.

If you are looking for a low-cost boiler, Warmhaus could provide a solution but there is a major question mark hanging over the reliability of these boilers. Due to the lack of reliable information and a minuscule cohort of reviewers on Trustpilot to work with, it’s impossible to reach any conclusion about Warnhaus with any conviction.

For now, we’re sitting on the fence and offering a generous middle-of-the-road rating of three from a maximum of five.

The reason for this is that Warmhaus has only been operating in the UK market since 2017 and will find it difficult to compete with established brands that also offer economically priced boilers with a proven history of reliability and creditability.

It will be interesting to see how Warmhaus’ Trustpilot reviews evolve. At the moment, the 7 responses are woefully insufficient to generate any real picture of the brand and we can’t confirm how genuine any of them are.

Yes, some brands do leave positive reviews that are false, but likewise, competitors leave poor reviews about their rivals as well.

On the plus side, Warmhaus is receiving acclaim for the quality of its customer service. That’s always a good sign. The customer service agents are also quick to respond to negative reviews and appear to be making proactive steps to resolve issues swiftly. Also, a good sign.

Other pointers we are enthused about are the smart controls which Warmhaus claim can save up to 97.% of the energy these boilers generate. If that is achievable it will be impressive, but the additional energy saving is reliant on how efficient the end-user is.

These boilers save 92% of the energy by themselves (91% on the system boiler) which is an industry standard. It’s not a metric we can say is a key buying point.

Warmhaus did win a design award in Germany for its latest range and, to be fair, these boilers are aesthetically pleasing and are compact enough to comfortably stow away in a cupboard.

The only downside we can categorically cling to is the 2-year warranty. This suggests Warmhaus does not have much confidence in their product. Having said that, the warranty length is standard in the heating industry for a boiler of this price. But it does lean more towards installing a boiler you probably can’t rely on.

In conclusion, Warmhaus is one to watch, but if you are in desperate need of a new energy-efficient boiler in 2024, Ideal, Baxi and Glow-worm are arguably a better choice. But only based on their historical record.

If you’re reading this after 2024, check out how Warmhaus’ Trustpilot is shaping up.

So, why buy a Warmhaus boiler?

Warmhaus combi boilers are installed in homes and buildings in more than 35 countries. On that evidence, the company must be producing high-quality systems. At least by the standards in other countries.

All of Warmhaus’ boilers have a stylish design and they’re easy to use, plus each boiler is made using long-lasting components.

The Warmhaus has even managed to manufacture the world’s smallest combi boiler, the MinerWa 25, which can easily be installed in narrow spaces. We also like the fact that Warmhaus constantly updates its boiler technology to lessen the impact its boilers have on the environment.

Warmhaus also offers highly competitive prices which will be hard to beat in the UK. Whilst there are better-known brands with similar price points, Warmhaus could be an option if you’ve previously had a bad experience with British brands.
