What we think of the Baxi Solo HE A
The Baxi Solo HE A heat-only boiler is available in a wide range of outputs to suit all heating requirements. Starting at an average price of £500 provides an economic solution for any boiler upgrade with its fuel efficiency that exceeds 90%.
Unlike Combination boilers, the models within this range have a separate storage facility where the hot water is stored for use by the taps. The range of Baxi Solo HE boilers is versatile and ideal for a smaller property, right through to a medium sized house. The heat output goes from a nimble 12kW, to a sizable 30kW, via five model iterations. The boiler not only sends hot water around the heating system, but also stores hot water in a separate storage tank (the more traditional type of central heating system).
The range is especially geared towards the older type of property which makes use of an expansion tank and cold water cistern. These components are usually found in the attic.
The great advantage with this type of system, is that you can literally have gallons of hot water without slowing down the heat to your radiators.
The boilers are also compact in size, work with a number of different sized storage tanks, and can be wall mounted.
