The Flexicom sx System Boiler is part of their great range of gas boilers. It is powerful enough to supply a range of property sizes ranging from flats to a large family home with four bedrooms.

It works by delivering a large supply of hot water via a compact boiler, supported by a storage cylinder which usually fits into an airing cupboard. This eliminates the need for a separate water tank in the loft.

The Flexicom sx has been designed to accommodate the demands of most property types. Its flexibility means its small enough to fit in a kitchen cupboard and is fully compatible with any type of indirect cylinder; making it simple to install. It is also the only condensing system boiler with a direct rear flue option available in the UK, this means it can be fitted anywhere.

What we think of the Glow Worm Flexicom sx

The Glow Worm Flexicom sx system boiler is flexible enough to cope with the hot water and heating demands of small and large properties. It is also uniquely the only boiler of its type that can be installed anywhere.

The two boilers in this range cannot be converted to LPG, so they are for natural gas use only. The two sizes offered are 18kW and 30kW, meaning that they can cope with small to large properties.

Because they use a hot water tank and are not Combi boilers, they can cope with properties which need a lot of water, but, most importantly, the boiler itself does not take up a great deal of room, so can be situated in the kitchen, or a convenient spot. They won’t take up a great deal of space and they weigh in at around 70kg.

It should be born in mind that because the two boilers have high minimum outputs, they might have to cycle on and off frequently, which means that if you have an old-ish property, which might not have the best insulation, then this can add to the cost. The controls will allow you to do the basics.
