Moixa Smart Solar Batteries
Moixa currently offers three smart battery solutions, including the 4.8kWh smart battery and the 7.2kWh and 9.6kWh optimised battery systems. Smart solar batteries by Moixa don’t work in a power cut, but the company is currently inviting customers to its first backup trial.
When you purchase a Moixa smart battery or optimised battery system, you can sign up for a GridShare Membership to enable Moixa to support the UK energy network when it’s under pressure. It supports the grid by sharing the energy stored in your battery or utilising the available space capacity in your battery. If you sign up, you’ll receive £50 every year for the first three years of membership.

4.8kWh Moixa Smart Battery
The 4.8kWh Moixa smart battery allows solar panel owners to store excess solar energy to enable their homes to be powered from self-generated solar energy. It comes with an in-built Moixa Hub that acts as a gateway to the company’s GridShare Software, and all of the components are built into a stylish case.

7.2kWh and 9.6kWh Moixa Optimised Battery Systems
The 7.2kWh and 9.6kWh optimised battery systems have the same components as the 4.8kWh smart battery, but they are not contained in one case and are instead installed separately. They come with a Pylontech battery that must be placed in a floor-mounted cabinet, and a Victron inverter and Moixa Hub that are wall-mounted items.
