What We Think of the Valliant ecoTEC Exclusive
There are two models in this range and both offer quite powerful heat ratings. The first one comes in at 32kW and the second at 38kW. They are Combi boilers, which means that they generate hot water for the taps on demand, as well as sending hot water to the radiators. The advantage with this, is that the system can be a lot smaller, as there is no hot water storage tank, cold water cistern, or expansion tank. This saves a great deal of space. Both boilers can run on natural gas, or LPG if you are not connected to the mains supply. Their heat output means they can cope with a medium sized semi-detached house, even one with an en-suite bathroom. As for the hot water flow rate, the smallest can achieve just under 13 litres per minute, whilst the larger one can boost that figure to 15.2 litres per minute. The boilers are suitable for wall mounting and at 44kg, they are not by any means the lightest, but they do have the power. The controls are well set out and comprehensive.
