Worcester Bosch Greenstar FS CDi Regular Boilers

Worcester Bosch Greenstar FS CDi Regular Boilers are one of Worcester’s high efficiency boilers with state-of-the art technology. Appropriate for the heating requirements of large properties, these heat-only boilers can be yours at an average starting price of £1,100 excluding VAT and installation costs.

The SEDBUK A rated Greenstar FS CDi regular boiler is the ideal choice when replacing an old floor-standing boiler or if a wall-mounted boiler is not an option. Its key features include a flexible flue system that allows it to be routed through an existing brick chimney, plus this floor standing boiler has additional multidirectional fluing for siting flexibility and a roll-in mechanism for easy installation.

Greenstar FS CDi Regular boilers are also equipped with fascia-mounted heating temperature control knobs and neon operational status indicators for economy and comfort. They are available in two heating outputs, which make them suitable for heating all property types and sizes. The 30KW model is ideal for any home that is small or medium with standard needs, whereas the powerful 42KW will efficiently meet all the heating and hot water demands of any large household.

What we think of the Worcester Greenstar FS CDi Regular

The floor-standing Greenstar FS CDi boilers feature in-built heating temperature controls and an energy-saving anti-cycle control. They will save you money on energy bills and cut your carbon emissions considerably. Those living in a larger property where a wall-mounted boiler is not suitable should consider this as an ideal replacement.

These are large boilers with high power outputs and are designed to replace the more traditional floor-standing model. They are not suitable for wall mounting. The smaller of the range comes in at 30kW, whereas the large unit packs a punch at 40kW.

They are heat only units. They provide heat for the radiators and for the taps via a hot water storage tank. Thus, they require a cold water cistern and expansion tank; these are often sited in the loft. They are designed for medium to large properties and have the necessary to quickly warm up cold radiators.

Although they stand on the floor, they are comparatively slim models and so can sit beneath a worktop. They weigh 55kg, which should be expected given that they sit on the floor and cannot be mounted on the wall.

Controls are adequate, but they do not come with a built-in programmer.

Getting a Competitive Boiler Quote

If the Greenstar FS regular boiler suits your household’s needs then we suggest you do some research before parting with your cash. To be 100% sure you are getting the best price; don’t hesitate to ask local boiler installers and a national installer for quotes.

For safety and reliability, please make sure your engineer is Gas Safe Registered.
