What we think of the Worcester Greenstar I Junior
Compact in size, Worcester Bosch Greenstar i Junior Combi Boilers are designed with a metal wall mounting frame that hides all necessary pipework and come in appealing lines and curves to suit any modern interior. It can be easily installed in a number of locations and is compatible with a choice of optional heating controls for the user’s convenience.
Just two Combi boilers sit within this range and the smaller version gives out a heat rating of 24kW and the larger, registers 28kW. The former will provide just below ten litres of hot water every minute, whereas the larger notches up nearly 11 and a half litres a minute.
The Combi is great for when space is needed to be saved in a flat, or a small house. They don’t need a hot water storage tank, nor do they need a cold water cistern, meaning that they travel a lot lighter than their more traditional counterparts. Another plus point is that they can run off natural gas, or LPG.
The boilers step on the scales at an incredible 27.1 kg, which means they are one of the lightest units out there. The casing is not quite as slim as the weight would suggest, but it can still be regarded as a unit that won’t be in the way.
The controls are comparatively basic, but will do the job.
