Why Choose a Viessmann Air Source Heat Pump?
Reduce Your Carbon Footprint
A Viessmann Vitocal air source heat pump provides environmentally responsible heating by absorbing heat from the air and using it to increase the temperature inside your home. When you install an air source heat pump and use free air to heat your home and water instead of a gas or oil boiler, you can reduce your household’s energy use and lower your carbon footprint.
Cheaper Energy Bills
If you’re currently using gas, oil or electricity to heat your home, a Viessmann air source heat pump can save you a significant amount of money on your energy bills each year. Your air source heat pump will require electricity to run but it uses only a small amount of electricity and gives you 3 times more heat for each 1kW of energy it uses.
Generate Income through the RHI Scheme
One of the advantages of installing a Viessmann air source heat pump is that it could make you some money if you get it installed by an MCS accredited company and apply for the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). The RHI scheme was formed by the UK government to encourage homeowners to invest in renewable heat technologies and financially rewards people who generate heat via a renewable source. How much you receive depends on the air source heat pump installed, the current tariff and the amount of energy you generate.
Super Quiet and Barely Audible
The Vitocal air source heat pumps are barely audible because they feature Viessmann’s Advanced Acoustic Design, which combines a sound-optimised fan to harmonise the acoustic frequency range with intelligent speed control to reduce airborne noise at full and partial load operation.
