Vaillant Ground Source Heat Pumps Prices, Costs and Energy Savings

Vaillant ground source heat pumps are a highly efficient and economical renewable energy solution, making them ideal for homes looking to reduce their carbon footprint and lower their fuel bills. They’re also quiet and reliable heating systems that come in a broad range of outputs to suit different properties and requirements.

If you want to modernise your heating system and help save the planet, a ground source heat pump from Vaillant is an excellent renewable alternative to your traditional boiler.

Vaillant Ground Source Heat Pump Range

Vaillant ground source heat pumps extract heat from the ground via pipes that are buried underground, so they require suitable outside space for digging a trench or borehole for the piping to be installed. If you have enough garden space and live in an older house, you may find that you need to upgrade your insulation or windows for the heat pump to operate efficiently.

Browse the range below to find out more about Vaillant’s ground source heat pumps.

Vaillant flexoTHERM Ground Source Heat Pump

Why Choose a Vaillant Ground Source Heat Pump?

Limit Your Carbon Footprint

A Vaillant ground source heat pump doesn’t burn oil, gas or LPG so it won’t produce any carbon emissions on site. And if you use a renewable source of electricity, such as solar panels, to power your heat pump, it won’t produce any carbon emissions at all.

Save Money on Your Heating Bills

Ground source heat pumps draw free heat from the ground to heat your water, radiators and underfloor heating system, but they still require electricity to work. That said, they use only a small amount of electricity and can deliver 3 or 4 kW’s of heat for every 1 kW it consumes, which means a Vaillant ground source heat pump should help to reduce your heating costs.

Get Paid for the Energy You Produce

Vaillant ground source heat pumps are MCS certified, which is an eligibility requirement for the UK government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). The RHI can provide you with payments to help you recover the initial cost of installing your heat pump, and the amount you are paid depends on the current tariff, the size of the system and the amount of heat it generates. However, you must hire an MCS certified installer to install your heat pump if you want to apply for RHI payments.

Among the Quietest Heat Pumps on the Market

The Vaillant flexoTHERM 400V range and the geoTHERM 400V range are Quiet Mark approved renewable heating systems, meaning they’re virtually silent and among the quietest ground source heat pumps on the market. Quiet Mark is the independent global certification programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation that identifies the quietest products in various categories to give consumers a more informed choice about the products they purchase.

Increase the Value of Your Home

Installing a well-designed renewable heating system, like a Vaillant ground source heat pump, can help to increase the value of your property. Buyers are becoming more conscious about how energy efficient their home is and how much impact it has on the environment, making a ground source heat pump a desirable addition for anyone interested in buying a new home.
