The Ideal Logic Heat is a heat-only boiler available in 12KW, 15KW, 18KW, 24KW and 30KW model sizes. It is available to buy for your home at a price of £876 and benefits from a 2-year warranty on parts and labour.

The boiler is SEDBUK 91.20% efficiency rated and are ideal for larger homes which require a high demand of hot water.  Space is a consideration when buying heat boilers as you will need room for a hot water cylinder and cold water tank.

The Ideal Logic Heat features simple, easy to use controls on a digital display with 2 dials only. One to switch the boiler on and off as well as reset it.  The other is to control the heat output.  Two controls make it straightforward and easy to use.

The Logic Heat features include a universal condensate connection, built-in frost protection and can adjust power levels dependent on heating requirements.

What We Think of the Ideal Logic Heat Only boiler

The Ideal Logic Heat is ideal for installations requiring minimum hassle.  It features simple push & clip flue turret connections and there’s no necessity for compartment ventilation. The flue itself is telescopic and fast-fixing.

The boiler is recommended by the Energy Saving Trust for its efficiency and has been given an ‘A’ rating accordingly. The range was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for 2013.

The Logic Heat is compact and lightweight and kitchen-cabinet compatible (subject to measurement.) It is convertible to LPG input with an optional conversion kit if your home does not utilise a natural gas feed.

What we would highlight is that the boilers are supplied with a two-year parts and labour warranty.  Given Ideal has a poor reliability rating compared to other boiler brands, you may want to consider paying extra for the Logic+ heat only version.  This boiler benefits from a seven-year warranty.
