Worcester Bosch Greenstar Gas–fired CDI Compact 28kW, 32 KW or 36KW

Worcester Bosch Greenstar Gas–fired CDI Compact are award-winning Greenstar gas boilers manufactured by the Worcester Bosch Group released a new edition earlier this year with the launch of the Worcester Bosch Greenstar Gas-fired CDi Compact.  The new addition delivers an even higher level of performance and is more energy-efficient than ever before.

Starting at a very reasonable price of £973.44, including VAT, the Worcester CDi Compact gas combi is the smallest boiler Bosch has ever produced. The compact dimensions ultimately give you more flexibility in terms of space management, but it still packs enough power to cope with the central heating and hot water demands of a three-bedroom house.

Worcester Bosch has a solid reputation as a leading manufacturer of gas boilers in the UK market, and the revolutionary Greenstar has received high praise from which? magazine. Drawing on 50 years of knowledge and innovation, Bosch engineers were able to produce an ultra-compact heat exchanger, manufactured using cutting edge technology from the aerospace industry.

What we think of the Worcester Bosch Greenstar Gas–fired

Worcester Bosch Greenstar Gas–fired CDI Compact will appeal to homeowners who need to reduce the cost of their heating bills and utilise cupboard space wisely. The small dimensions offer a broader range of options as to where the boiler can be fitted and it doesn´t take up as much room as a conventional combi-boiler. Not only that, but the intuitive CDi Compact doesn´t waste as much energy either. When not in use the boiler automatically switches to standby mode and uses less than 1W of electricity, which guarantees substantial savings on your annual gas bill. With a government emphasis on energy efficiency and the sharp rise of utility bills, it is in the best interest of home owners to fit a compact combi-boiler that reduce the amount of energy the average household uses and the Worcester Bosch CDi Greenstar is the perfect fit for the future.

This range of three boilers is ideal for those looking for a Combi unit with a punch, but one that won’t hog all the available space. It is suitable for smaller properties, up to a small house with a single bathroom. All boilers within the range can be run using natural gas, or LPG.

Hot water flow rate goes from 11.4 litres a minute for the smallest unit, the 28kW rated, to 13.1 litres for the 32kW and 14.7 litres for the 36kW unit.

They are compact – and a Combi does not need water storage tank, cold cistern, or any of the other trappings associated with a more traditional system – and weigh just over 32kg. The dimensions mean that it can fitted into an average sized kitchen cupboard, as long as enough space is left for the engineer to provide service.

Controls are also good, with a nifty LCD display panel.
